NICKEL C 276 AWS A 5.14-89 CLASS ERNiCrMo-4
INTRODUCTION OHMALLOY ERNiCrMo-4 is used for gas-tungsten-arc and gas-metal-arc welding of Inconel alloy C-276 and other nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys. Due to high molybdenum content, this alloy offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting and crevice corrosion.

Nickel C 276 is a Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum wire used for welding C and C 276 to themselves, to Stainless Steels, or to other Nickel based alloys.
Nickel C 276 offers excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and oxidizing in atmospheres up to 1,900° F.
It also provides superior corrosion resistance to wet chlorine gas, chlorine dioxide and hypochlorite solutions, brine and seawater.
Tensile strength: 110,000 psi.
Elongation is 30%.
Application
* OHMALLOY ERNiCrMo-4 of its high molybdenum content it offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, thus it is often used for cladding. * OHMALLOY ERNiCrMo-4 offen used for groove welding of 9% nickel steels in the production of LGN storage tanks.
* OHMALLOY ERNiCrMo-4 also can be used for welding of materials of similar chemical composition, as well as dissimilar material of nickel base alloys, steels and stainless steels.
