Electric Heating Nichrome Alloy Bright Spring Wire Diameter 4mm 3mm In Muffle Furnace
Ohmalloy Material Co., Ltd is one of the leading non-ferrous metal processing enterprises in China, with more than 10 years of experience. In addition to products from brass, bronze, copper-nickel, nickel, as well as copper-zinc alloys, the company manufactures nichrome wire, strips, tapes, rods and nets from alloys X15H60 and X20H80.
Nichrome is a nickel-chromium alloy with very high heat resistance and electrical resistance - its working temperature is 800 - 1100 degrees Celsius, and the melting temperature is about 1400 degrees Celsius.
All these properties allow the use of wires and strips of nichrome for the manufacture of heating elements in laboratory and industrial electric furnaces, various electric heat-generating devices, for example, in heat guns and industrial hair dryers, as well as water heating systems.
Basically, on the Russian market there are two brands of nichrome - X15H60 and X20H80. The difference between them lies in the operating and melting temperatures, as well as in strength and ductility, in all these indicators the X20H80 alloy is the leader.
• Nichrome X15H60 - Contains 55-61% Nickel and 15-18% chromium. The remaining components are iron and other impurities.
• Nichrome X20H80 - Contains 74% Nickel and 23% chromium; iron, silicon and manganese are also present.
Ohmalloy also produces nichrome wire, tapes, rods and nets from alloy X20H80-N, whose composition includes microalloying zirconium. Compared with X20H80, products from this alloy are characterized by high surface quality and contain less impurities, which ultimately leads to a longer product life.
OhmAlloy109 is a nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr alloy) characterized by high resistivity, good oxidation resistance and very good form stability. It is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1200°C,and hold a superior service life compared to Iron chromium alumium alloys.
Typical applications for OhmAlloy109 are electric heating elements in home appliances, industrial furnaces and resistors( wirewound resistors, metal film resistors), flat irons, ironing machines, water heaters, plastic moulding dies, soldering irons, metal sheathed tubular elements and cartridge elements.
